Green Bean Casserole has become a traditional must-have on more than 20 million holiday tables. Ready-to-use ingredients like Campbell's® Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup and French fried onions add flavor and texture to the beans, and keep this delicious side dish among Campbell's most requested recipes. What's more, the dish is ready for the oven in just 10 minutes.
Inspired cooks can try new twists on this classic dish including Italian Green Bean Casserole, Roasted Garlic Green Bean Casserole, Golden Mushroom Green Bean Casserole, or Cheesy Green Bean Casserole.
MIX soup, milk, soy, pepper, beans and 1/2 can onions in 11/2-qt. casserole.
BAKE at 350¡F. for 25 min. or until hot.
STIR. Sprinkle with remaining onions. Bake 5 min. Serves 6.
TIP: Use 1 bag (16 to 20 oz.) frozen green beans, 2 pkg. (9 oz. each) frozen green beans, 2 cans (about 16 oz. each) green beans or about 11/2 lb. fresh green beans for this recipe.
Italian Green Bean Bake:
Substitute 4 cups cooked Italian green beans for green beans. Prepare as directed, adding 1 small tomato (chopped) and 1/8 tsp. each dried oregano and basil leaves (crushed) with remaining onions.
Roasted Garlic Green Bean Bake:
Substitute Campbell's® Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup with Roasted Garlic for Cream of Mushroom Soup.
Golden Mushroom Green Bean Bake:
Substitute Campbell's® Condensed Golden Mushroom Soup for Cream of Mushroom Soup. Omit soy sauce. Prepare as directed, adding 1/2 small red pepper (chopped) to bean mixture.
Cheesy Green Bean Bake:
Omit soy sauce. Prepare as directed, adding 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese to bean mixture. Sprinkle 1/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese with remaining onions.
