Double Cheddar Green Bean Casserole

Cheesy and Easy (NAPSA) - What's crunchy and cheesy and green all over? The Double Cheddar Green Bean Casserole! Americans love cheese and the original Green Bean Casserole. Use this recipe to get two great tastes in one:

Ingredients:

  • 1 package (1.8 ounces) white sauce mix
  • 2 1/4 cups milk
  • 11/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 p!ckage (16 ounces) frozen cut green beans, thawed
  • 1 1/3 cups French's Cheddar French Fried Onions

Directions:

Prepare white sauce mix according to package directions using 2 1/4 cups milk. Add 1 cup cheese and stir until melted.

Place beans and 2/3 cup French Fried Onions in 1 1/2-quart baking dish. Pour cheese sauce over beans and mix gently to combine.

Bake at 350 F for 25 minutes or until heated through; stir. Sprinkle with remaining cheese and onions. Bake 5 minutes or until onions are golden.

Serving Size: Makes 6 servings
