Tortellini with Mushroom and Garlic Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1 pkg (450 g) frozen or (350 g) fresh tortellini 1 pkg
  • 1 tbsp butter or margarine 15 mL
  • 1 small green pepper, cut in short strips 1
  • 1 small red pepper, cut in short strips 1
  • 1 can (10 oz/284 mL) Campbell's Condensed Cream of Mushroom & Garlic Soup 1 can
  • 1/2 cup milk 125 mL
  • grated Parmesan cheese

Directions:

Cook tortellini according to package directions; drain.

In medium frypan, melt butter at medium heat. Sauté pepper strips for 3 minutes or until tender crisp.

In bowl, whisk together condensed soup and milk. Add to peppers in frypan; bring to boil then reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Add tortellini and stir until well coated with sauce and heated through. Sprinkle with cheese.

Preparation: 5 minutes - Cooking: 25 minutes

Serving Size: Makes 4 servings
