Hip Dips To Make Your Party A Hit

(NC) - Knorr Classic Soup Mixes bring zesty flavour and fun to any party. Get inspired this month and create a scrumptious party menu featuring delicious dips such as these.
Overnight Veggie Salsa
- 1 pkg Knorr Vegetable Soup Mix
- 1/3 cup boiling water
- 3 large tomatoes, seeded and diced
- 3/4 cup each corn kernels and rinsed, cooked black beans
- 1/2 cup diced red onion
- 2 tbsp chopped coriander
- 1 tbsp each lime juice and olive oil
- 2 tsp finely chopped, seeded jalapeño
- 1 clove garlic, minced
Combine the soup mix and water in a large ceramic bowl. Let stand, covered, for 10 minutes. Stir in the remaining ingredients, cover and let stand overnight. Serve with tortilla chips or use as a condiment for hot dogs, burgers and grilled chicken.
Makes 3 1/4 cups (800 mL).
Feisty Feta & Red Pepper Dip
- 1 pkg Knorr Vegetable Soup Mix
- 8 oz brick style cream cheese
- 1 cup each 2% yogurt and crumbled feta cheese
- 1/2 cup diced roasted red peppers
- 1 tsp hot sauce (or to taste)
- 1 green onion, chopped
Place all of the ingredients in the bowl of a food processor. Pulse until combined. Taste and adjust hot sauce if necessary. Chill for 1 hour. Serve with pita chips, bread sticks and assorted vegetables.
Makes 3 cups (750 mL).
