Cho-Chang Sauce

As the child of Russian-American parents, Maria Polushkin learned the art of making mouth-watering dumplings at an early age. She has gathered this unique collection of appetizers, soups, stews, main or side dishes, and desserts from all over the world. Illustrated.

From The Dumpling Cookbook by Maria Polushkin

Ingredients:

  • 1/3 c Soy sauce
  • 2 tb White vinegar, (rice vinegar if possible)
  • 1/2 ts Sugar
  • 2 Scallions, finely chopped
  • 1 Clove garlic, minced or put through a garlic press
  • 2 tb Peanuts, chopped (optional)

Directions:

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl.
