(NC) - Here's a dessert that's guaranteed to be a hit with your little surfer girls and boys - "Beach in a Bucket" Dessert. Crank up some beach tunes, grab your shovel, and dive into your dessert!
What you'll need:
Miniature pails and shovels
Vanilla pudding
Canned fruit cocktail (no sugar added) or fresh fruit
Graham cracker crumbs
Paper drink umbrellas
What to do:
Wash the pail and shovel thoroughly. Or, better yet, start with a brand new pail and shovel. (You're going to be using the pail as a bowl and the shovel as a spoon, so you want things to be nice and clean!)
Fill up the pail with food. Alternate layers of vanilla pudding and fresh or canned fruit, finishing up with a layer of vanilla pudding.
Top the vanilla pudding with a layer of graham cracker crumbs.
Decorate your "beach" with beach umbrellas (a.k.a. paper drink umbrellas).
