A steamed pudding cake for Christmas.
Prepare prunes in jar of hot water overnight. Reserve 3/4 cup liquid.
Cut up prunes. Combine prunes, raisins and apples.
Sift flour, salt, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg. Blend well with fruit. Add white sugar, suet, stir in egg, prune liquid and molasses.
Spoon into 2 quart pudding mold and cover with foil. Steam 3 hours.
