Colour Canada's Birthday Red-And-White

Serve up your own touch of patriotism on the Canada Day long weekend by offering your guests a few red-and-white taste treats of your own.
Red & White Champagne Cocktail
- In a sugar rimmed Champagne flute, mix:
- 2 oz Remy Red liqueur (57mL)
- 3 oz Champagne or sparkling wine (85mL)
Canada Day Cocktail
In a sugar rimmed tumbler or flute, mix:
- 2 oz Remy Red liqueur (57 mL)
- 3 oz. tonic water (85 mL)
Sugar Rimming the Glass
Using two shallow dishes, pour a small amount of Remy Red into one, and a generous amount of raw white sugar into the other. Be sure the sugar is spread out flat. Invert a glass, touch the rim to the liqueur then dip it in the white sugar. If you prefer a red rim, look in the baking section of your supermarket for decorator sugar used on party cakes and cookies.
Strawberry Heaven Dessert
- 1 litre strawberries 3oz Remy Red liqueur (84mL)
- Brown Sugar, Sour Cream
Pour liqueur over strawberries and refrigerate one hour. Serve topped with a dollup of sour cream and sprinkled with brown sugar.
Remy Red & Vanilla
- 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream
- 1 oz Remy Red (28mL)
Pour liqueur over ice cream and serve.
