Contributed by: News Canada Walk the plank! (NC) - If you're looking for a new grilling idea, walk the plank! Cedar plank grilling infuses food with a delicious smoky flavour. The beauty of this method is it requires little supervision, so you can spend less time at the barbecue and more time with family and friends. Plank-grilled foods are a refreshing change of pace from typical barbecue fare. The result is moist, flavourful and it's so easy to do!
Ingredients:
Directions: IMMERSE the plank in water, placing a weight on top of the plank to keep it submerged. Soak for at least 4 hours or overnight. PREHEAT barbecue on medium heat. Mix dressing, parsley and tomatoes; set aside. BRUSH top of cedar plank with oil; top with salmon. Place on grill; cover grill with lid. GRILL 10 minutes.
