(NC) - Great recipe for breakfast, lunch or dinner. This sandwich provides 3 out of 4 food groups from Canada's Food Guide to Healthy Eating. Just add juice or a fruit or vegetable and you have a 'perfect' meal.
Spread mustard over 4 slices of the bread. Top each with ham slice; sprinkle evenly with cheese. Press remaining bread over top.
In pie plate, wisk together eggs, milk and salt. Add 1 of the sandwiches; let soak for 1 minute. Using lifter or spatula, turn sandwich over; let soak for 1 minute. Repeat with remaining sandwiches.
In large skillet, melt butter over medium heat; cook sandwiches for about 3 minutes per side or until golden and cheese is melted.
