This recipe can be made as mild or as spicy as you and your family see fit. If you are on a tight budget and need something that "sticks to your ribs", tastes good fresh or even as leftovers, and goes along way, this meal is for you. Ingredients:
Directions: Fry cut up smoked sausage in a little bit of oil, add chicken broth, vegetables in juice, rice. Bring to boil, and simmer till rice has soaked up the liquid from broth and vegetable juice. Season to taste. For every 3-4 extra people, add 1 (14.5oz.) can of broth, 1 can (14.5oz) Veg-all cajun style vegetables and 1 1/3 cup of instant rice. Serving Size: Makes 6 - 8 Servings |
