Makes Two 12" Pizza Crusts

Basic Pizza Dough - Weight Watchers

Ingredients:

  • 4 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 envelope active dry yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/4 cup hot water (120 - 130 F)

Directions:

In a large bowl, combine 2 cups flour, the yeast and salt. With electric mixer, slowly beat in water; beat 2 minutes, occasionally scraping bowl with rubber spatula. With mixer on medium speed, beat in 1/2 cup flour; beat 2 minutes, until dough is stiff. Stir in 1 1/2 cups flour.

Sprinkle clean work surface with 1/4 cup flour. Knead dough. Split in half and form into pizza crusts.

Serving Size: Makes Two 12" Pizza Crusts
