Directions: Sauce: 2 tbsp (30 mL) soy sauce, 1 tbsp (15 mL) orange juice, 2 tsp (10 mL) liquid honey and grated rind of 1/2 orange. In large skillet, heat oil; add beef and stir-fry quickly in batches until no longer pink in centre. Remove beef; set aside. Add garlic, onion, gingerroot and chili pepper flakes to skillet; saut quickly. Add green peppers, carrot and water. Cover and cook 2 to 3 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Reserve seasoning packets from Ramen noodles; cook noodles as directed on package; drain and set aside. Sprinkle 1 seasoning packet over vegetables; reserve remaining packet for another use. Combine sauce ingredients; add to skillet. Bring to a boil. Place noodles on serving platter; top with pepper steak mixture. Serving Size: Makes 4 servings. |
