The Gibson's Big Apple

(NC) - A modern take on the Manhattan, this cocktail has a distinctive holiday feel thanks to the addition of apple cider, but it tastes so good you'll find yourself drinking it all through the year.
Ingredients:
- 2 oz. Gibson's Finest 12 year-old Canadian Whisky
- 1/2 oz. dry vermouth
- 1 oz. apple cider or fresh pressed apple juice
- Juice from 1/2 lime
Directions:
Combine Gibson's, vermouth, apple cider and lime juice in an ice-filled cocktail shaker and shake until well chilled. Pour into a chilled martini glass and garnish with a twist of lime.
