Your Summer South Peach Diet

(NC) - July and August are peach season. And what better way to celebrate the season than to include this delicious fruit in your favourite recipes.
Perfect Peach Sangria
- 1 bottle of Yago Sant 'Gria, available in the Party Zone of your local LCBO store
- 1/2 cup peach puree
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 4 ripe peaches pitted and quartered
- 1 cup of club soda
- Ice cubes
Mix ingredients together in a clear pitcher so guests can enjoy the rich, refreshing colours of the season.
Peach Margarita
- 4 oz premium tequila such as Jimmy Buffett's favourite, Margaritaville
- 1 oz Triple Sec
- 1 - 2 peaches peeled and pitted
- 2 oz water
- 1 cup crushed ice
Blend together and serve in a long stem glass.
A "No-Fuzz" Peach Margarita
This is the easiest margarita recipe ever - but don't tell your guests. Tell them you got the recipe from Salvador Huerta, a famous restaurateur in Mexico, known for his delicious, authentic margaritas. So popular are his margaritas, he began bottling his famous recipe. Salvador's Original Margarita is available in the ready-to-serve section of your local LCBO.
Simply serve on the rocks, or blend with a 1/4 ounce of peach schnapps for a signature drink that celebrates peach season. Garnish with a peach wedge.
