Raspberry Rainbow Shake

(NC) - Party beverages often lack nutritional value, but don't tell the kids that it is the opposite with a milkshake. The following recipe is high in protein, they are low in fat and calories (if you mix and match the ice creams with yogourts and sherbets, and our summertime flavours of fruits, nuts and berries add traces of vitamins and dietary fibre.)

Ingredients:

  • 1 package frozen raspberries, slightly thawed to make 3 cups
  • 2 cups Breyers Natural Vanilla frozen yogourt, or Natural Vanilla ice cream
  • 2 cups Breyers Rainbow sherbet
  • 2 tbsp/25 mL honey
  • 1/2 cup cold low-fat milk

Directions:

Blend all ingredients until smooth.

Serving Size: Serves 4.
