who want to do it in style, there are a number of new trends to incorporate
into this year’s party planning. From colourful champagne cocktails in the
trendiest of hues, to new takes on perennial entertaining favourites, there are

Forget the traditional red and gold. Sarah Shuken, a Toronto-based entertaining
expert, says fuschia, chartreuse, orange and white are the hot colours for this
entertaining season. And, in partnership with Corby Distilleries Ltd., she
provides some ideas on how to incorporate these colours into holiday parties:

This beverage is chartreuse in colour, making it the perfect welcome cocktail
when served on a tray lined with fresh cranberries. Your guests will start
feeling festive the moment they walk through your door.
Ingredients:
- 3/4 oz. Freixenet Cordon Negro sparkling wine
- 1/3 oz. McGuinness Crème de Banane
- 1/2 oz. McGuinness Blue Curaçao
- 3 oz. lemonade
- 1 fresh strawberry, quartered and shaken with d2ink
Directions:
Combine ingredients and serve.
