Sleemans Honey Browned Roast

encourages you to experiment with the beer recommended in this recipe. The beauty of beer is that its complex flavours can change the character of a dish each time you prepare it -- heartier
with a dark beer, lighter with a lager.
This recipe provides for a generous and delicious gravy that can be made just before serving with your favourite vegetables and potatoes. (Sleeman Original Dark also works well with this recipe)
- 2 to 3 lb. pot roast
- 1 pkg. onion soup mix
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 bottle (12 oz.) Sleeman Honey Brown Lager
In heavy skillet over high heat, quickly sear roast on all sides until brown. Place roast, onion soup
mix, garlic and beer in slow cooker. Cover and cook on low all day.
