Fancy Peach Topping

Delicious served warm over ice cream, cake, pancakes or waffles. For peach melba sauce, replace strawberry preserves with raspberry.


  • 2 cups (500 mL) sliced peaches
  • 1/3 cup (75 mL) strawberry preserves
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) butter
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) lemon juice


Combine all items in a medium saucepan.

Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer gently 1 minute.

Serving Size: Makes about 2 cups (500 mL)
