  • 2 cups minced cooked meat
  • salt & pepper
  • l tsp. grated onion
  • l/2 cup left-over gravy or stock
  • 3 cups mashed potatoes
  • l egg


Mix meat, seasonings and gravy; heat Worcestershire sauce, tomato catsup or parsley may be added.

Warm left-over potatoes, beat well, add egg and seasonings; add milk if necessary.

Butter a baking dish; put layer of potato, then a layer of meat; repeat, having potato on top.

Bake in a hot oven until the potatoes are browned.

You can put shredded cheese on top of potatoes if you like.
