Peaches N Cream Sundae

To toast nuts, spread chopped nuts on a cookie sheet and bake at 300 F until browned.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 cup (1/2 pint) whipping cream, whipped
  • 3/4 cup chopped toasted almonds or other nuts
  • 1 quart ice cream
  • 4 fresh California peaches, peeled and sliced

Directions:

Whip honey with an electric mixer until light and foamy. Gently fold in whipped cream and nuts. Hold in refrigerator until ready to serve. At serving time, dribble some of the sauce over ice cream and sliced peaches.

The Ultimate Root Beer Float

Place two or three scoops of ice cream into a frosted mug. Slowly pour Mug\R\ Root Beer over the ice cream until the mug is full. Grab a spoon and a straw, sit back, and enjoy!

The traditional favorite is vanilla ice cream. For a change of pace, try coffee ice cream for a Mug o' Java, or create a Slice Cream Float by substituting Orange Slice for the Mug Root Beer. Try vanilla ice cream or use raspberry sorbet for a Slice Sunrise.

Serving Size: Makes 6 to 8 servings
