Parmesan Mashed Potatoes

  • 2 lbs. all-purpose potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) Imperial Spread
  • 3/4 cup milk, heated
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese


In 3-quart saucepan, cover potatoes with water.

Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to low and simmer uncovered 20 minutes or until potatoes are very tender; drain.

Return hot potatoes to saucepan. Add Imperial Spread, milk, salt and pepper; mash until smooth. Stir in cheese.

Gathering around the table is an important part of family and holiday celebrations.
