  • 2 tbsp. soft margarine 25 mL
  • 1/2 cup Packed brown sugar 125 mL
  • 1 cup Peeled, diced Ontario Apples 250 mL
  • 1 tsp. Ground cinnamon 5 mL
  • 2/3 cup Icing sugar 150 mL
  • 2 - 3 tbsp. Water 25 - 45 mL

In large bowl, combine biscuit mix, milk and sour cream; mix gently until just combined.

Turn dough onto lightly floured board, knead 8 to 10 times. Roll dough into 14 x 10-inch (35 x 25 cm) rectangle. Spread dough with margarine; sprinkle with brown sugar, apples and cinnamon. Roll up dough lengthwise, jelly-roll fashion. Slice into 12 pinwheels.

Place each pinwheel, cut side up, in lightly greased muffin tin. Bake in 425¡F (220¡C) oven for 15 minutes or until light golden brown. Remove from oven; cool 5 minutes before removing from pan. Combine icing sugar and water, adding enough water to make a spreadable icing.
