Grilled Shrimp Caesar Salad

Putting on the spritz
(NC) - As the peak of salad season fast approaches, it's time to find a better way to add flavour to your favourite greens without overdosing. Make a weeknight dinner divine with this recipe from new Hellmann's Simply Caesar Mist Salad Spritzer - the classic Caesar in a rich vinaigrette dressing made with extra virgin olive oil, Cheddar and Romano cheeses, spices and a touch of lemon juice.
- 1 lb peeled, uncooked jumbo shrimp, tails on Hellmann's Simply Caesar Mist Salad Spritzer
- 1 tsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 head romaine lettuce, chopped
- 1/4 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
- 3 strips bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
- 1 tsp capers (optional)
- 1 cup lightly seasoned croutons
- salt and ground pepper to taste
Preheat grill or broiler to medium-high heat. Spritz the shrimp liberally with Hellmann's Simply Caesar Mist Salad Spritzer Dressing, tossing to coat well. Grill or broil shrimp, turning once until they turn pink, about 4 to 5 minutes. Remove the shrimp to a bowl and toss with lemon juice; cover and set aside.
In a serving bowl, combine the lettuce with the cheese, bacon, capers and croutons. Spritz liberally with Hellmann's Simply Caesar, tossing well to coat. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Divide salad evenly among four plates and top with grilled shrimp.
