These truffles can be rolled in the chopped nuts of your choice if you're not a coconut fan.
- 2 cups milk chocolate chips
- 1/3 cup butter
- 1/2 teaspoon habanero powder
- 1/4 cup half-an$-half
- 1 tablespoon rum
- 1/4 cup minced mango
- Flaked coconut
Combine the chocolate chips, butter, habanero powder and half-and-half in a microwave-safe bowl
and microwave on 50-percent power for 1 minute.
Remove, stir and continue to cook on 50-percent
power in 30-second increments until the chocolate is smooth and well blended. Stir in the rum and mango.
Place the mixture in the refrigerator and chill for about 15 minutes.
When the mixture is almost hard, drop the candy by teaspoonsful into the coconut. Shape the candies
into 1-inch balls with your fingers.
