Bisquick Clone

Contributed by: Chris WebAdmin. of

When I was making a quick bisquick pot pie a few weeks back I realized I was short of enough Bisquick to finish. Most of the recipes I found had shortening which I didn't have on hand so when I found this Bisquick Clone I was thrilled to find this one which uses oil.

Although some people think the real Bisquick is great, I think this clone tastes much better and use it exclusively now.

  • 1 1/8 cups flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Mix together dry ingredients.

Add oil and combine using pastry cutter or 2 knives.

Use in place of bisquick in any recipe.
