- 1 24 inch loaf French bread
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
Preheat oven to broil. Rack should be in center position.
Slice bread loaf open lengthwise then in half to fit on an 11 x 17 - inch baking tray. Place cut side facing up.
Spray cut side of bread with cooking spray.
Sprinkle evenly with garlic salt. Spray again with cooking spray.
Broil for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes or until light golden brown on top.
Remove to cutting board and slice into serving pieces using a serrated bread knife.
