Not always up to eating first thing? Shake things up with a frothy fruit beverage to get your engine running. Instead of berries, you can use sliced peeled peaches.


  • 1 cup milk or soy beverage 250 mL
  • 2 tbsp skim milk powder 25 mL
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 cup frozen or fresh 250 mL strawberries, blueberries or raspberries


In blender, puree together milk, skim milk powder, banana and berries until smooth.

Pour into 2 glasses.

To Make This Recipe Suitable For A Gluten Free Diet:

Use milk not soy beverage.

Serving Size: Makes 2 servings
