Saucy Maple Plum Pork Chops

Prep Time: 10 minutes - Cook Time: 20 minutes
- 1 tsp vegetable oil
- 4 bone-in pork loin chops (about 1 1/2 lbs / 675 g), or 1 1/4 lbs / 550 g boneless chops
- 1 small onion, halved and sliced
- 1/2 cup / 125 mL VH Plum Sauce
- 1/4 cup / 60 mL maple syrup
- 1 Tbsp Dijon or whole grain mustard
- 2 Spartan apples, peeled and thinly sliced
Take out equipment.
Heat oil in a large nonstick pan over medium-high heat. Cook chops, about 1 minute per side, until lightly browned. Remove and set aside.
Sliver onion adding to unclean pan as you slice, stirring until soft. Stir in plum sauce, maple syrup and mustard.
Return chops to pan, coating well with sauce, reduce heat to medium-low. Wash and slice unpeeled apples, Cover and simmer 5 minutes.
Serve with whole wheat couscous and green beans.
