After-School Snack (NC) - This pizza is perfect as an after-school snack. Use your favourite berry or a mixture of several. And new flavored almond butters are available now, providing additional flavor dimensions.


    Berry & Almond Pizza
  • 1 (6-inch) whole-wheat pita
  • 3 tablespoons almond butter
  • 1/3 cup fresh berries
  • 1 tablespoon slivered or sliced almonds, roasted


Toast pita. Spread with almond butter and sprinkle with fresh berries and almonds. Cut in half and serve.
