Layered Cherry Jello Mold

This is good for a dessert at any time of the year.


  • 1 envelope Unflavored Gelatin
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 small Cherry Jello
  • 3/4 cup Boiling Water
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 21 oz. Cherry Pie filling
  • 1 12 oz. Cool Whip
  • 2 3 oz. Cream Cheese (softened)


In saucepan soften gelatin in 1 cup of cold water. Heat & stir until dissolved. Add 1 tbsp lemon juice and cool.

Dissolve cherry jello in boiling water. Stir in 1 tbsp lemon juice and pie filling. Pour 1/4 of the mixture into 6 1/2 cup mold. Chill until firm. Beat cream cheese and cool whip . Fold in unflavored gelatin. Spoon 1/3 over 1st layer. Chill.

Alternate layers and chill after each.

I received this recipe at a Bridal Luncheon. It has been handed down so many times the originator has been lost....
