(NC) - Here's some breakfast tips to help parents during the mad morning dash!

  • Place whole-grain bagels and fruit in a bowl on the table, and yogurt, sliced cheese and fruit juice in a designated 'breakfast' area of the fridge so children can quickly grab a nutritious breakfast to go.

  • Set the table with plates, bowls, glasses and cutlery before bed the night before.

  • Pack a portable breakfast that your child can enjoy on their way to school. Nutritious ideas for children on the go include fruit, juice boxes and yogurt in squeezable tubes.
