The delectable, easy to make recipes feature ingredients from Laura Secordís tried and true product line, as well as the new Ganache line. Hereís one example thatís sure to become a holiday favourite:

Ingredients:

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 3 teaspoons coarsely ground black pepper
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons chilli powder
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 box Laura Secord Deluxe Mixed Nuts (400 grams)

Directions:

Place all ingredients except nuts into a large skillet, heat on medium high until bubbling.

Lower heat to medium and add nuts, tossing well to coat nuts with the mixture. Continue cooking until liquid reduces to a drier, sticky glaze.

Serve warm

Tip:

To reheat any leftover nuts, place on a baking sheet and heat for about five minutes on a rack near the top of a 350-degree oven.
