Honey Ginger Pears

A warm, tasty addition to cool treats. A great dessert for backyard barbecues.

Ingredients:

  • 3 Ontario Pears, peeled, cored and sliced
  • 2 tbsp (25 mL) butter
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) honey
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) grated fresh ginger
  • plain ice cream or yogourt

Directions:

In skillet, heat butter over medium-high heat. Add pears, honey and ginger.

Saute 2 - 3 minutes or undil golden. Serve over ice cream or yogourt.
