Chocoholic's Delight in Minutes
(NC) - Here's a great way to beat the heat in the kitchen - and still have a tasty homemade dessert! Now, Duncan Hines cake mixes can be prepared in the microwave in just 10 minutes.
No need to frost! White chocolate chips are melted into the top of the freshly-baked masterpiece for a final finish that's completely divine on its own.
Hands-On Time: 10 minutes - Total Time: 20 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 pkg Duncan Hines Moist Deluxe Devil's Food Cake Mix
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

For best results line the inside of your silicon baking pan with approx 1/3 of a can of the Duncan Hines frosting (alternatively grease very lightly). Silicon bundt pans work particularly well in the microwave because of the shape. However, any straight-sided microwave safe bowl can be used.
Prepare cake mix according to package directions. Stir in 1/2 cup white chocolate chips and semi-sweet chocolate chips. Pour into prepared pan.
Microwave on high for 10 minutes. (Microwaves may vary but this seems to be the average time required - check for doneness after 8-1/2 minutes.)
Turn out onto a cake plate; sprinkle top with remaining 1/2 cup white chocolate chips. Serve warm or cool completely.
