Savoury bread recipes for your bread machine
(NC) - Now you can create fragrant, flavourful loaves of homemade bread in your bread machine using Knorr Pasta Sauce Mixes (www.knorr.ca). If you love to pull out your bread machine and whip up a hot, fragrant loaf of bread, then Knorr has great news for you. Now you can turn your favourite bread machine recipe into a gourmet loaf of flavoured bread just with the addition of a package of Knorr Pasta Sauce Mix.
How do you use Knorr Pasta Sauce Mixes in bread? It's simple. Take your favourite plain bread machine recipe (Italian, White, Wholewheat). Then, when you add your flour to the bread machine, simply empty the contents of the package of Knorr Pasta Sauce Mix on top. Add the rest of your ingredients, set the machine and press start. Ingredients:
- 1 1/4 cups room temperature water (300 mL)
- 1 pkg Knorr Carbonara Pasta Sauce Mix (1)
- 2 tbsp olive oil (30 mL)
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar (15 mL)
- 1/2 tsp sea salt (2 mL)
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose (550 mL)
- 1 cup whole-wheat (250 mL)
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh rosemary (15 mL)
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh (30 mL)
- 1 tbsp chopped (15 mL)
- 1 1/2 tsp bread machine (7 mL)
Directions:
Measure ingredients into baking pan in the order recommended by your bread machine manufacturer. Where manufacturer’s instructions call for powdered milk, add Knorr Pasta Sauce instead. Choose whole grain setting.
Remove finished loaf and cool on wire rack.
Serving Size: Makes 1 Loaf
