Oatmeal Berry Burst Muffins

Oatmeal Berry Burst Muffins

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour (375 mL)
  • 3/4 cup quick rolled oats (175 mL)
  • 1/2 cup packed brown (125 mL)
  • 2 tsp baking powder (10 mL)
  • 1/2 tsp salt (2 mL)
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon (2 mL)
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen (250 mL)
  • 1 cup milk (250 mL)
  • 1/2 cup Hellmann's Real (125 mL)
  • 1 egg (1)

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400 F (200 C).

In a large bowl, combine the flour, oats, sugar, baking powder, salt and cinnamon. Stir in berries. In medium bowl beat together milk, mayonnaise and egg. Add liquid to dry ingredients and stir just until combined. Spoon into 12 paper-lined or greased muffin cups, dividing evenly.

Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until muffin top springs back when lightly touched.

Serving Size: Makes 12 Muffins
